Actually, brewing beer is quite simple, you just have to adhere to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516 – that means:

Apfeltrang & the Allgäu
The Allgäu and thus also Apfeltrang are worth a visit at any time of the year.
The altitude around 800 m promises a white landscape in winter, which invites you to cross-country skiing and tobogganing. At sunrise at the top of the Schroffenstein Alpe, you are usually rewarded with a clear view of the Allgäu Alps.
In spring the blooming dandelions enchant the landscape with a yellow dress and it is impressive to experience the fields and meadows like this.
The immediate surroundings
Not far from Apfeltrang is the old imperial city of Kaufbeuren. Trade in the Middle Ages brought the city its prosperity, leaving behind a multitude of interesting artistic and architectural witnesses. Tradition is alive here. During a visit to the monastery, you will learn about the life of Kaufbeuern’s patron saint, Crescentia. She was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2001.
Other nearby interesting destinations include the jewelry town of Neugablonz and the Elbsee lake with opportunities for swimming, rowing and hiking.
