In the category restaurant garden Landgasthof Hubertus in Apfeltrang achieved the highest award and our beer garden was declared shining example. Considering the circumstances the owners showed a lot of intuition and taste to create a comfortable, snug place outdoors that meets the requirements of children and seniors alike. The safe playing facilities for children and the gastronomy deserve special mention.

We are the perfect destination for a trip from Munich or Augsburg. Go for a hike or do some sightseeing or shopping in the vicinity. While away what is left of the day in our beer garden or our restaurant.  In about 1 hour you are back in Munich and in 45 min. in Augsburg or maybe you’d like to spend one night at our hotel.

Of course you can take a look at our brewery – if you plan your visit at a fixed hour you will get some basic information about brewing during a guided tour.

Our beer garden was completely renovated in 2000 and offers you roofed seating that protects against the summer heat and the rain. The central attraction of our comfortable beer garden: a fancy granite rock with waterfall.

For our younger guest there is a small playground next to the beer garden, with a fence all around, with swings, sandpit and slide to make sure they do not get bored while you can still have an eye on them. There’s even a small petting zoo with rabbits and guinea pigs.

Of course we serve our Apfeltrang beer and everything our cuisine offers in the beer garden.
